Apricot chicken

Bell-View’s Taste the Fruit 1st Apricot Preserves is perfect for your morning toast but did you know that it could also be used as a succulent, sweet sauce for chicken? We’ve taken and adapted this recipe to make a delicious entrée that’s dangerous to keep around your house for too long! Serve with rice and vegetables and you have yourself a stellar, indulgent meal for the weekend.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves

  • 1 ½ (1 ounce) packages dry onion soup mix

  • 1 (10 fluid ounce) bottle Russian-style salad dressing

  • 1 cup apricot preserves

RECIPE:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

  2. Place the chicken pieces in a casserole dish. Mix the soup mix, dressing and Apricot Preserves together, and pour over the chicken.

  3. Cover dish and bake for 1 hour in preheated oven.
