Breaded Chicken with Honey Garlic Sauce
We used several Bell-View products for this recipe!
INGREDIENTS:
1.5lb chicken breast
2 eggs
Panko bread crumbs
2 tbsp. avocado oil
1 tbsp. Bell-View Chopped Garlic
1/3 cup Bell-View Honey
¼ cup Bell-View Savory Chicken Soup Base, prepared
2 tbsp. Bell-View White Vinegar
1 tbsp. Bell-View Soy Sauce
DIRECTIONS:
Set oven to 350 and let preheat, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Separate/cut chicken into desired amount of pieces.
Dry chicken and pound thin with a meat mallet.
Beat egg mixture in a small bowl and place panko on a plate. Add avocado oil to a skillet and warm over medium heat.
Add chicken to egg mixture and coat with panko and add to heated oil. Gently fry on both sides and place on baking sheet. Repeat until all chicken is breaded and fried.
Bake in the oven for 20-30 minute depending on the thickness of the chicken breast.
In a small pot, combine honey, garlic, vinegar, and soy sauce over medium heat. Prepare soup base according to package and add ¼ cup of the chicken stock to the medium pot.
Heat until all ingredients are incorporated.
Serve honey garlic sauce over the chicken.
I made a peanut sauce over some rice noodles for our side. A simple peanut sauce includes:
4 oz. Peanut Butter
1 tbsp. chili sauce
1tsp. hoisin sauce
1 tbsp. rice vinegar
1 tsp. fish sauce
10 oz. water
